Designed by William F. Gordon in 1967, The Club of Staunton’s 18-hole championship course winds through the rolling Virginia hills, with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Layout & Difficulty
Players of every skill level enjoy the challenge of fairways that vary by length and slope — with downhill drives, uphill lies, and precise approaches demanding both judgment and creativity.
Tees & Ratings
The par 71 course offers six tee boxes, stretching from 6,600 yards (Black Tees) to 4,700 yards (Junior Tees), making it both accessible and competitive.
Legacy
Over the decades, The Club has hosted countless Virginia State Golf Association events, including the 2011 VSGA Junior Girls’ Championship.
